My name is Cynthia Gallardo. I live in Louisiana, LA with my loving husband, Danis Gallardo, and our son, Elijah Gallardo. We have a beautiful fur baby, a Doberman named Pantera. Pantera means Panther in English. We are a bilingual family, and we are active in the Hispanic community providing free Bible studies.

My husband and I enjoyed being foster parents for five years. We have had four children stay with us for extended periods of time. We view each child as our own, and we welcomed them into our family with open arms. They will forever be our “kids” and each has a home with us. We recently had to close our home when we adopted our son, Elijah, in July 2019. Our adoption day was one of the happiest days of our lives! Believe me, I’d love to at least have a dozen kids in our home, but the size of our home does not allow for additional children.

I have been fascinated and passionate about DNA since the moment I learned about DNA in high school. I studied biology and chemistry in my undergraduate educational career. DNA is our body’s blueprint which determines what we look like, both internally and externally.
